These products can be used in surveillance, smart city, finance, business, drones, robotics, smart home, healthcare, and many other areas.
Ye completed his PhD in Computer Vision at Simon Fraser University, and has years of professional experience as a principle software engineer at renowned companies, including Yahoo and Electronic Arts. Before selling his company, GhostBird Software, to Yahoo, it produced top iOS paid-apps: PhotoForge and KitCam.
John developed a passion for business development while working as a senior technical staff at Arrow Electronics for more than 10 years, where he also grew an extensive network of connections around the world. He received his PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China, and was a postdoctoral at the University of Calgary. He co-authored the book “Multiagent Robotic Systems”.
Jane is a professor at the University of British Columbia with broad interests, including deep learning. Her guidance and mentorship to our researchers have made a significant impact.
Jie is a professor and associate director at Simon Fraser University’s School of Engineering Science, specializing in Computer Vision and Video Coding. His interest in deep learning ultimately sparked the creation of AltumView.
Bob is a member of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada and the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia. He has a master’s degree in Economics at the University of Ottawa. His strong relationship with clients and his understanding of their requirements play a significant role in their success.
